Day 1: Jakarta – Taman Jaya – Jungle Trekking – Camping
Your adventure begins with an early morning pickup from your hotel in Jakarta at 5:00 AM. We will drive to Carita Beach, a journey of approximately 3 hours, where breakfast will be served at a local restaurant.
After breakfast, we continue our scenic drive to Taman Jaya, the gateway to Ujung Kulon National Park, which takes approximately 2 hours. Upon arrival at the parking area, you will meet your experienced local guide and porter, who will accompany you throughout the jungle expedition.
From here, we begin an exciting 2-hour trek through the tropical rainforest. Along the trail, you will experience the rich biodiversity of Ujung Kulon National Park, home to magnificent tropical trees, exotic plants, colorful birds, monkeys, and many other fascinating wildlife species.
Upon reaching the campsite, our local team will set up your tents while you relax and enjoy the peaceful rainforest atmosphere. A freshly prepared lunch will be served at the campsite.
In the late afternoon, you may join a short nature walk around the campsite to discover more of the area's unique flora and fauna or simply unwind and immerse yourself in the sounds of the jungle.
A delicious dinner will be served at 7:00 PM, followed by a relaxing evening under the stars before spending the night in your comfortable jungle camp.
Day 2: Jungle Trekking – Carita – Jakarta
Wake up to the refreshing sounds of the rainforest and enjoy a hearty breakfast at the campsite.
After breakfast, we begin our trek back to the parking area then to Taman jaya Dock then we will board a traditional wooden boat and cruise to the beautiful Peucang Island, a journey of approximately 3 hours. Along the way, we will stop at Nyawaan Beach, located on the Ujung Kulon Peninsula, where you can enjoy snorkeling in crystal-clear waters, swim, or simply relax on the pristine beach. A freshly prepared lunch will be served on board during the cruise.
Upon arrival at Peucang Island, you will check in at Fauna EcoLodge. The rest of the afternoon is free for you to relax, enjoy the island's peaceful atmosphere, or explore the surrounding beach at your own pace.
A delicious dinner will be served at 7:00 PM, followed by an overnight stay at Fauna Eco Lodge.
